Vintage Mid Century Younger Solid Afromosia Teak Dining Table Danish Style
Absolutely superb dining table designed by John Herbert for Younger circa mid 1960s. The table is an imposing piece with sleek lines heavily influenced by Danish modern design, and with the build quality to match. The table is constructed from solid afromosia teak, giving it a lovely deep rich colouring. It's in great vintage condition, there are a couple of small marks to the top but nothing you wouldn't expect of something this age. We've given it a thorough clean and oiled it to bring the grain back to life. The table will seat 6-8 comfortably, and would be ideal for an open plan kitchen/dining room.
Mid Century furniture is becoming more and more collectible nowadays as its design is absolutely timeless and will fit in well with most interior schemes, whether ultra contemporary or a more eclectic mix of furniture, and even the mainstream press are publishing articles about how pieces like this are becoming modern "antiques". For this reason Mid Century furniture can be a great investment for the future.
