Vintage Danish Finn Juhl FD540 Extending Teak Dining Table France and Son

£1,250.00 Sold Out

Stunning teak dining table designed by Finn Juhl in 1954 for France & Son of Denmark. The table is solid teak and comes with two leaves which are stored underneath the table. Once fully extended it can comfortably seat 10-12 people. The table is in good vintage condition, though there are some signs of wear and tear as you would expect of something this age, notably there is a fine split in the top as detailed in the photos, which is reflected in the price. We have given it a thorough clean and oiled it to bring the grain back to life.

Mid Century furniture is becoming more and more collectible nowadays as its design is absolutely timeless and will fit in well with most interior schemes, whether ultra contemporary or a more eclectic mix of furniture, and even the mainstream press are publishing articles about how pieces like this are becoming modern "antiques". For this reason Mid Century furniture can be a great investment for the future.
